House of Tricks

“The moniker makes this quaint restaurant sound like the kind of place where you’d catch Penn and Teller or David Copperfield sawing some chick in half, but it actually refers to the last name of the owners Robin and Robert Trick, who over the years have transformed this green-and-white, 1920s-era cottage into one of the few destination dining spots worthy of the category in Tempe. Menu features inventive, New American/fusion cuisine, matching a smattering of regional ingredients with salmon, duck breast, sea bass, pork tenderloin, and so on. Great date place, with expansive patio dining and a cool bar.”
